Since 1999 Beat has been teaching Shotokan Karate in Bern according to the guidelines of the Japan Karate Shoto Federation (JKS).
In addition to the traditional Shotokan Kata, Koten Kata, developed by Asai Tetsuhiko Sensei, are also taught.
The training is aimed at Dan holders and instructors.

Beat has been training karate since 1983.
During his regular trips to Japan, he was taught by the world’s best Karate instructors at the JKS Headquarters in Tokyo, Japan.
In addition to his many years of intensive training nationally and internationally, Beat has also participated in numerous of national and international competitions.
