Japan Karate Shoto Federation (JKS)

The JKS (Japan Karate Shoto Federation) is a non-profit organisation (NPO) and emerged from the JKA (Japan Karate Association). It was founded by Tetsuhiko Asai Shuseki Shihan in Japan. After the death of Tetsuhiko Asai Shuseki Shihan , Masao Kagawa Shihan took over the leadership of the JKS.

Masao Kagawa Shihan trained under legendary JKA instructors such as Asai, Yahara, Abe and Grandmaster Masatoshi Nakayama, who took Shotokan Karate all over the world.
