The Shotokan Karate School Rüthi was founded in 1998 by Claudio Clerici and offers training opportunities for all ages from first graders to retirees. A small gymnasium in Rüthi serves as a dojo. It is ideal for karate training and also provides space and equipment for polysportive activities and games.
These are used specifically to complement the performance-oriented karate training. The holistic training is intended to promote health and develop sporting skills in order to stay fit into old age.
Karatekas who are looking for additional challenges are prepared for competitions and coached in the process.
In addition to Shotokan Karate, self-defence techniques are also trained and practised.
The organisation is set up as a club and therefore social events/excursions also have their fixed place in the club year.
